Scouts

The Scout section is open to young people aged 12 to 15 years, providing them with the opportunity to take on more responsibility and develop their leadership skills within a structured and supportive environment.

Scouts are organized into small groups known as Patrols, with each patrol consisting of 6 to 8 members. Within each patrol, a Patrol Leader is selected to take on leadership duties, ensuring that everyone in the patrol is informed and involved in the activities. Patrol Leaders also meet regularly with leaders from other patrols to discuss troop activities, share ideas, and plan upcoming events. This system promotes leadership, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility among the Scouts.

Friday meetings are a lively mix of games, activities, and challenges that keep the Scouts engaged and motivated. Some of the key components of the weekly meetings include: Team Building Challenges, Skills Challenges, and Fun and Games.

The Scout programme is all about adventure, growth, and making lasting memories while learning valuable life skills.

Scouts meet every Friday from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Scouts participate in a range of events that provide them with unforgettable experiences and the opportunity to build lasting friendships. Some of the key activities include: Camping, County Competition Camps, Day Hikes, and our annual Summer Camp.
